Comments: Dear Brother Wayne: I am requesting continual prayers for myself and family. I am very weary and worn out by this journey that goes from trials to tribulations that takes twists and turns that leaves me baffled. I have been saved since I was a child and enjoyed a beautiful intimate walk with the Lord that magnified his reality to my life. However in these latter days, I have been through the fiery trials that is really challenging my understanding of God and life in general. I love the Lord but feels as if the cares of this life has really strangled the word from my life. When I try to return to the Lover of my Soul, I find myself going through the motions and having small breakthroughs but then returns to the overwhelmed emotions of doubt and trust interchanging stage of attention. I need the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob to show up. I need the God of Shadrach Meshach and Abednego that showed up in the fiery furnace and protected our ancient brothers from the flames. I need the God of Daniel in the Lion's Den that stopped the mouths of the hungry lions that would have devoured Daniel if not for the fact that God angel shut their mouths. I need the God of Moses at the burning bush and the ONE that divided the Red Sea and delivered his people that was hemmed in with no way out but the way he orchestrated. I need the God of Abraham and Sarah that took a dead womb and bought forth life in the realm of impossibility according to human metrics. I need the real and true living God to intervene into my life and show up and show out. I look at all the trials and it seems as if all of human efforts is null and void and ripe for a miracle that only God can perform. My son is incarcerated and we paid so many lawyers to represent him and they only took our money and gave us the illusion of a defense. My son was incarcerated for three years before his case was ever bought to trial and a lot of improper things went on in his trial that ultimately found him guilty of which we are now appealing through another lawyer of which the jury is out as to whether or not he will diligently advocate on behalf of my son. My son is a believer and is weary, tired and worn out. And I am tired and weary as well. I feel like a broken record when I tell him the promises of God and tell him to trust the Lord when I so desperately needs these words to be my drink and food for life. I am spiritually weak and although I know deep down inside that God is worthy of all honor, glory and praise for he has been faithful in spite of the fact that he did not answer our prayers the way we wanted him to...he has been faithful...but my brokenness is painful and I need to find myself back at his footstool receiving directly from his hand to be spoon fed once again from on high so that we can receive strength to carry on and impart this to my son as well. Please pray that God would open my understanding and bless my faith with confidence in him. We need the peace of Christ in our lives. We need to see HIM again. We find ourselves grabbing at threads to create a tapestry of faith. I do not even know if the connecting of dots even mean anything significant. But we are grabbing at straws to keep from drowning in these events that takes us into deep confusion and despair. I also need prayer for another son that has bipolar. He also has legal issues that keep cropping up and I feel as if I am strangled by legal issues. I use to think I had a strong calling on my life in the Lord but when a lot of legal issues creep up in my life I found myself studying the law and wondering if I should go to law school when I use to thought about going to seminary and sharing the gospel with others. Needless to say, I am standing still right now until I can get a clarity on high for I think my emotions is getting ahead of me. Upon looking at the legal system and how many people can not afford decent legal representation, has gave me a desire to study law and to have this knowledge to help others who are being swept up by a system that is far more punitive than interested in rehabilitation of those that are lost. I often ask the Lord why me? And what is this suppose to be teaching me? For I just feel powerless and helpless in the midst of a system that has laws on the book that circumvent the rights of the least. I also need prayers for my other son who has his own business that God would bless him. And as far as my son who has bipolar, that God would heal him. And for the son that is in prison that God would send help and release him from bondage. Please pray that all of my loved ones would be saved and that our faith will be renewed and activated by the Spirit of the Living God. Please pray that whatever is hindering me from hearing clarity from God would no longer be a barrier but that my heart and spiritual ears would be attentive to the voice of God. Secondly I feel guilty for all of the stuff he goes through because of me my health and also stupid choices I have made. Though he never complains!!!!!!!!! here is what we need prayer for 1) Our finances are deep in debt ,prayer to get our of debt caused by medical and unjust legal bills or legal bills for an unjust legal situation 2) pray for my guilt I know it is not of God it is due to being sick and having him do everything for me -he never complains it is just how I feel I want to contribute too and I cant! 3)the thing bothering me most is my hubby is often misunderstood and attacked and mistreated. It goes on a lot but mostly at his job. Other people even get paid for his hard work. Pray he gets a new job. Comments: I need urgent prayer at this moment. I'm in NYC, and living now in a "transitional housing setting", after being transferred from the "homeless shelter setting", and while in this situation, I have to be on public assistance, something I truly don't like, but it is onlyn till I obtain employment, something I have been working hard at. The public assistance system pays my rent while I stay at this transitional home, and it has been an adventure to say the least; I had monies that were sent to me via US Mail, stolen by staff, a roommate who has stolen my personal identity, and to top this off, I'm in a mandated work search program, and I have had really bad experiences in such a program to say the least, from attempted homosexual patronizing from other participants and male staff (who seek a favor for a favor if you know what I mean), to female people in this program who seek companionship, and I just didn't like this mess, so I was expelled from this program, until I have a hearing that could determine me being sanctioned, which can lead me to being on the street. PLEASE PRAY FOR ME!
