Comments: Please pray for my friend Susan Sun. Susan is her American name. Her birth name is Haiyan. She has been in NYC since about 2010. She peaks very little English. She received Christ here in NYC. But the Chinese churches here in NYC are terrible! They just teach ancestry worship but add Jesus name to it. Now someone she works with is a Jehovah witness and gave her a Jehovah witness bible. She has taken her to the Jehovah witness Chinese Kingdom Hall. The problem is there is no Chinese grace church or even a church I feel confident recommending for her that speaks Chinese. I share a birthday with her. For her birthday my hubby and I are getting her a Chinese bible. However she needs a church a good one. Not even exists for Chinese here in spite of hundreds of Chinese churches, (There are more Chinese in NYC than in Hong Kong) Please pray for her total freedom in Christ and to have wisdom about these cults trying to recruit her!

Comments: Dear Wayne: I have enjoyed your radio ministry. My prayer request is for my brother Anthony. He has been ill all his life and the story is quite horrendous. He is now age 64 and became ill at age six. He could not talk and he starting screaming. Today, he is diagnosed with retardation, mental illness and has been through so many living residences. He is quite difficult to be with. Although he can talk, there are all kinds of problems. I have done everything I could for him over the years. Have been trying to get to talk with his psychiatrist affiliated with the agency, FREE, that houses my brother in a nice group home in Suffolk Cty. NY It is my feeling that my brother needs more medication to calm him down. Of course, there is the problem of being given the "run-around" by staff, etc. Supposedly, the psychiatrist will get back to me. It had been such a terrible life for our whole family over the years. Comments: Please pray for my hubby's dad. His name is Gee Sing Lew. It is not the name he was born with. It is the name they gave him at Ellis Island but his legal name now. He is from mainland China. Anyway he is showing signs of dementia. We are not sure if he really received Christ. He prayed with my hubby for salvation but then refused to pray or read the bible. The Chinese churches in NYC are awful!They preach ancestry worship and have these big lunches but just add Jesus name to it. He attended a few of those churches but they have no impact. I have Chinese friends who attend those churches who do not pray, or read the bible or talk about the Lord and are embarrassed to do so. So anyway we are not sure of his salvation. My hubby talks to him about the Lord. He usually doesn't want to hear it. Please pray for his dad Gee for healing and salvation if he is not saved. Also just as important my hubby is weary taking care of me (I am still in a wheel chair and cant take a shower or anything by myself he cooks for me and everything) Please pray for my hubby for the Lord to renew his strength! Comments: I have a friend I asked for prayer for before here that she would quit smoking last year. She was not saved she asked me to pray she could quit so she would not die not lung cancer (she didnt have it but was afraid of it) Last night she died in her sleep! I did give her sermons and she was open I can only hope she got saved before she died. She was not sick at all but had a smoking habit and asked me to pray that she can stop smoking. She was afraid it would kill her and take her away from her children. Please pray for the salvation of her 6 children and not sure what will happen to them now. Pray they end up in the right home! Comments: For about 4 years my hubby has been making jpegs (Christians picture quotes) and people from international ministries are stealing them and getting paid for them! We didnt care when my hubby was working because he did it to bless people but stealing and gettign paid for his work is upsetting considering it is coming from the body of Christ! They do it and have his name taken off. One famous pastor posted it on his FB page. I said where did you get that my husband made it. He didn't believe me I had to send him the original along with about 350 others then he believed me. He said he didn't remember. That's the thing nobody ever remembers. But my prayer is that my hubby will get paid for his many talents and not other people! We didn't care at first but considering that we are broke and people are stealing and getting paid by their famous pastors. Please pray that the Lord will open the door for my hubby to get paid for his many talents!

Comments: Please pray for deliverance from insomnia which I have partly due to pain and partly due to trying to withdraw from a medication that is ruining my bones! Please pray for me to withdraw but the thing is withdrawing causes insomnia so I take more of it especially when one of my doctors (my acupuncturist) yells at me for not sleeping! He is a great doctor just thinks I am making myself worse by not sleeping but to me not taking the drug is really important for my health. Anyway pleass pray for deliverance from this medication and insomnia thank you! |
