Comments: We are on a real lock down in NYC. We are abiding by it too. We are not allowed to go to parks and it is still winter weather here now too cold for me to walk outside anyway. We have been walking the stairs since we can't go to the gym or physical therapy. I am still recovering from metal toxicity and it can take years outside of a miracle. I can not afford to let my body atrophy. But there is a guy on the floor above us who lives alone he was or is married but kicked his wife out so I know he lives alone and he has Coronavirus. But he goes into the stairway where we walk and coughs his head off. We got sick twice and decided not to walk the stairs any more. We have a small apartment and there is no room to work out. Your mighty and heart felt prayers are being-answered all over these United States, by the power of God Almighty, in the Lord Jesus Christ and the Indwelling Holy Spirit : the HELPER!!!! My cousin sent me this post today from Massachusetts area, from a church friend of hers: Most of you know that Iโm a chaplain at our local General Hospital. Yesterday we had a very cool celebration as a patient left the hospital after having C-19 badly. We are doing that now with every C-19 patient that leaves us feeling better, and is being discharged to home. We announce overhead and everybody who wants to, has 15 minutes to get to the front entrance. We had roughly 200 staff cheering wildly and clapping as this man left. He had his hands in the air, like he had just won a championship. But this was even better than that. He has LIFE! He was SO thrilled! We had the theme song from Rocky playing loudly, but our clapping overpowered it. There were many tears with the cheers, good ones. A RN who took care of him at first a few weeks ago, said that she thought back then, that he wonโt live through it. She was crying beautifully! It did her heart good! Yes, even some who have C-19 badly WILL recover! We've had a couple more since I wrote this, and each celebration is like the one I described above. It's marvelous! These are people who needed intensive medical care for weeks, and I was doing my part by praying for them. A sidelight to this: many local individuals and businesses have contributed this and that, i.e. I was in a nursing unit today when 50 sandwiches and chips and cookies were brought for staff. I enjoyed a chicken salad sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. Yum! Besides that kind of gift, our Spiritual Care dept. has been blessed with many new prayer shawls to give to patients. This is a very unique time when there are many mixed emotions for those of us who work in health care. We feel the heaviness and stress of the situation, after all, some die. But we also get the joy of seeing people leave who absolutely would not have lived if it wasn't for the interventions of the whole staff. Plus we feel the beautiful support of people who do something to make a contribution to the bigger picture, which is truly appreciated. Personally I feel very strongly supported by many people who are praying for me. Thank you! I must say, I LOVE being in the middle of all this. I love encouraging staff and supporting them in prayer and sometimes counsel, and I love my interactions with patients. BTW, I don't see C-19 patients up close, I only pray for them. I do see everybody else. Thank you for taking this virus issue seriously. It's real. And thank you for the prayer support and other ways that you help!

Comments: Dear Wayne, I first heard your message of God's love and grace about 24 years ago when I was struggling as a single mother with an unplanned pregnancy. The baby's father was 9 years older than me and was dealing with an Agent Orange-related cancer from his service as a ranger in Viet Nam years earlier. I married the father, but he died when our daughter was four and I never re-married so she has never known a father. She has struggled with anxieties and a somewhat compromised immune system over the years. When she finished college in 2018, she decided to attend mortuary school and is now working for a funeral home in South Jersey. She told me yesterday that her company requested volunteers to handle the surplus of bodies from the virus outbreak in NYC and she has decided to go and help. I am proud of her, but concerned. I pray she will know a loving father who will keep her in perfect safety and peace.

Comments: A friend of mine died. The problem is also families are not allowed to visit you or advocate for you at the hospital. I have peace my focus is on him. This is no different than any other war fare I have been through. I am interceding for many who seem to be falling apart because their focus is not on him. Hebrews 12:2 But NYC needs prayer. I live in an apartment building with people who are not honoring the lock down. They don't work but go out every day. We have to share a laundry facility with them. Some believe it will be like the cruise ship where everyone is locked in together and gets sick. So please pray for the health care workers who are lacking in protective gear that is safe, Christians who are the first responders in prayer. I had some more test last month which usually take at the most 24 hours for the results but I just got the results. I didn't understand them and had a phone consultation with a doctor and he said I have improved all around! He even said I am now cleared to fly! (Not that I will with the lockdown) but at least I know I can now! The Lord, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, long-suffering, and abounding in goodness and truth. Comments: THE VENTILATOR ALL OF US CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT IS THE BREATH OF GOD'S SPIRIT TO KEEP US ETERNALLY ALIVE. I'm also thinking of the workers at grocery stores, supply workers who deliver goods to homes, essential business staff, and all those who are working or volunteering to care for others directly...all these people need personal protective equipment (just as much as healthcare & first responders do). Originally, we, as regular citizens, were told NOT to wear masks because medical & emergency public workers had shortages. On a Monday evening cable news show, a pandemic doctor was the first authority figure I've yet to hear, announce: "ANYONE OUT IN THE PUBLIC NEEDS TO WEAR A FACE MASK." I'm retired from patient care, yet know how lifesaving these masks/gloves/eye shields/protective wear actually are, in caring for patients with highly infectious conditions (protecting them, others, and self). My prayer: LORD JESUS, ABBA, HOLY SPIRIT, THANK YOU FOR SO LOVING THE WORLD.
