Comments: My husband is quite a bit older than I. Recently it seems liked a button was switched, and suddenly he can hardly walk. He's using a cane, but instead of walking, he shuffles. And he absolutely REFUSES to see a doctor. While he's been baseline cranky for years, now it seems he's VERY angry 24/7, to the point that I'm becoming afraid of him. Worse yet, while he would attend church with me at the beginning of our relationship, he over the years he's become steadily hostile to the idea of God. I've been praying and praying and praying, but instead of changing, things seem to be getting worse and worse. I can't afford to leave him, but I don't know how long I'm going to be able to deal with this

Comments: I'm 63 I was caretaking for my mom who was 95 I nursed her through a stroke, through COVID, through 4 falls and she never broke a bone. I was praying, and crying out to God to save her soul. I loved my mom. The Lord once said of the woman that wearied the king with her requests, and granted her request because she was relentless. He said that to tell us to never stop praying. I was praying, whenever I thought of her, seeing her there. I'd pray when I was shopping for food, cooking her meals, cleaning her feeding her.. I KNEW my Father in heaven was able.. but I didn't know if he would have mercy on her, because He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy, and compassion on whom He will have compassion. On Aug 24 My Mom died before me. I am in darkness, confusion and SO MUCH PAIN. God sees my heart, I cannot lie, cannot hide from Him. I am broken and my faith has been dealt a blow of which I can't see me recovering from. I feel God let me down (as stupid as that sounds, and against His word and promises) I feel like Job only I'm not a perfect an upright man as he was. I sink in the mire of which there is no standing, and I'm going under. I have no place to live and must be out of the house by months end. I had to retire early to stay home and take care of her. I'm broken beyond recognition. I feel like Elijah in the wilderness, asking God to take my life.. cause I can't go on.

But since we understand the exchange rate of eternal glory is more than a billion pounds of gold for an ounce of human suffering (producing an eternal weight of glory beyond far that weak comparison, 2 Cor 4:17, Rom 8:18, etc), I havenāt uttered the words they have ādespising even life itself,ā etcā¦ I would like prayer to not go to depression, but to find a community, within which type of environment I consistently thrive, even on mission trips, I get extra focusedā¦ - She's repeatedly said thereās no hope for us ā sonās 9 months old and I see him very little in an unstructured manner which keeps me āon callā from 4pm to Midnight or later, for her to give me <10mins a day with my son. I pay her a day's wages for <10 mins... Can't even afford that... - Please pray I have grace to fast and pray and God heals me and recommissions me as he did Elijah, 1 Kings 19:11-18, oh yes, I forgot Elijah under the broom tree was also depressed, 1 Kings 19:4 ā he was a man with the same nature as we have, James 5:17, as were all of the above. Comments: This is an update, if you will, but all praise, thanksgiving and adoration belongs to the Great I Am. Our Great High Priest Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior. I asked for prayer 7/12 for Denise for a miracle and others. She was dx with stage 3 ovarian cancer. Had only 2 chemo treatments followed by more blood work. Her results her doctor could not explain and said it was unbelievable that her lab value went from 800 to 100!! ( normal is 40) after 2 treatments! A miracle from the hand of God through Jesus. The beauty of Jesus and the depth of his love is humbling. Her surgery is scheduled for 9/11. Please continue lifting her up. Iāve learned to look at Jesus and not my situation or problems. It may sound difficult and Iām not perfect. Just a child of God looking to Him. The spirit of God draws you to Himself. Spend time with Jesus. One day with him is better than a thousand elsewhere. Praise his holy name.
Comments: Father, Grant my earthly Dad wisdom, favor, blessing and safety in all his endeavors. I specifically ask You'd be with his physicians and wife. Give him excellent spiritual and medical advice and care. Let him have blessed sleep. Help him to be fully devoted toYyou. Thank You for the measure of faith he has. Increase his faith. Help him have the right open doors to share with his older friends, 2 Thes 3:1, and keep him safe and protect him from evil people and the evil one, 2 Thes 3:2-3, thank You in Jesus' Name |
